Broken Hearts and broken dreams
Make no noise
There are silent screams
But no voice
The cracks and crevices need to heal
Quick- immunize mind to that awful feel
The heart is not a cookie to crumble and fall
Its blood and strong muscle to take any call
Open new realms
Let hope not depart !

Today’s Blogher prompt asks the question ‘Where do you see your blog in one year? Five years?’
Well, the answer to this question is actually quite simple but requires some imagination. Obviously being an optimistic person and a dreamer to some extent I would like to imagine that my blog would have reached the pinnacles of success in the next five years!
At present my blog is young and energetic and raring to go. Within one year I visualize having an established presence in blogosphere, with perhaps (wishfully) some blogging awards under my belt and writing offers from wordpress and blogher!! No, please, I don’t wish to sound pompous at all ,but the prompt, prompts me to think the best possible. so why shouldn’t I?
In one year I also anticipate having a published novel credited to my name.In five years time, God willing things should continue to be moving well not just in terms of blogging but also related to family, health and of course wealth! (It rhymes well you see) Last but not the least , I’m sure I’ll have become an expert blogger-so writing a book on blogging tips for beginners is on the cards. Any Takers?
Everyone wishes for success, and it is observed that the most successful people in life are those who had foresight and an ambition in life. They believed in the saying ,’Begin to be now what you will be hereafter.’
Most people in general, tend to procrastinate from time to time and tend to postpone important tasks to the next day or a holiday.Take writers for instance. They have this story idea in mind but need that just a little bit of push to bring their thoughts on print. Students make new year resolutions to start studying daily, and people wishing to loose weight resolve to start exercising. Needless to say these resolutions are broken sooner than they are made. What is actually required is a strong will power and a desire to be what you want to be hereafter. The best time is to start now!
We are living in a highly competitive world, where the general belief is that only the best can survive.Due to this fear many people don’t even try to make an effort to begin working towards their goal. Why not start doing what you desire and have the talent and skill for? Do your work with full intent and passion ,and as they say ‘The whole universe will conspire to make your dreams and desires to become true.’
According to the holy Geeta, Lord Krishna advices ‘Do your work truthfully and wholeheartedly with out seeking rewards.’ The fruits of labour are never denied, though may sometimes elude a person for a while. For example ,if an athlete wants to excel in games such as the olympics, must start preparations much before the actual event.A dancer or classical singer cannot simply afford to postpone practice sessions.
And last but not the least, if one wants their kids to grow into good ,law abiding citizens, they should teach them to be kind and considerate, as well as teach them the difference between good and bad.
“Be not deceived, God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”
